Welcome to my little corner of the internet! I’m James, a bit of a hobby collector who sometimes writes about the things that interest me.
I’ve been dabbling online since I was 10, when I put together my first website on GeoCities. My web development skills have stayed… let’s say, charmingly retro. These days, I work as a systems administrator—not exactly where I thought I'd end up, but after trying to dodge it, I found that fate has a funny way of catching up. Over the years, I’ve done everything from working as a mechanic, spray painter, and tyre fitter to building semi-trucks for Kenworth and galvanizing. Fixing things is in my blood—I’ve always had “the knack” for it. Still, it could be a learned skill, as I have a habit of breaking things too.
When I’m not at a keyboard, you’ll likely find me out with friends, on a road trip, or behind a camera. Cars, photography, and good company are what keeps life interesting for me.
